PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS BLOG ENTRY USES FRANK LANGUAGE
I would never write a blog like this but I was shocked beyond belief when I woke up this morning and read my emails.
I have a friend who I trust completely that lives in Seattle, Washington. He was telling me about a woman that we both know. He is friends with her on Facebook and I am not. He told me that a few days ago that her daughter started posting almost nude men on this woman's Facebook wall. The mother made lude comments encouraging the 15 year old daughter and saying things she would like to do to these men. Shortly afterwards the woman started getting complaints so she took them down and explained that the daughter was an artist so it was okay. She said that her daughter saw the men's bodies as art and not as something sexual.
This story reminded me of why my friendship with the woman started to go south. She was telling me one day how her daughter collected condoms and she thought it was funny and even helped her get different kinds, types and colors. She then started bragging how her daughter had started this collection when the girl was 12-13 years old. I of course was a bit dismayed and told her so. This was the start of the end of our friendship because the mother could not understand how inappropriate it was to sexualize such a young girl.
This mornings email had a couple of pictures attached. One of the pictures showed the woman in a bathtub looking straight at the camera. The captions was "I am touching myself and thinking about you". My friend told me that he had never met her but had only known her through Facebook. He found it odd to be receiving such a picture but really did not think much more of it. He said last night he went to her Facebook wall and she had the same picture of herself masturbating on her wall. It had been cropped to hide the "good stuff" but she actually has her masturbation picture out so everyone can see it. When she was asked about it she explained it showed her eyes so well.
This really puts me into a quandary of what to do. She has a child as young as four and other children as well. I told my friend to forward the info to Child Protection Services in Oregon but I assume that nothing will happen. In today's society masturbating in public, sexualizing children and sending out porn to people you do not know seems almost normal.
It sickens me that children are growing up today seeing this type of thing on TV but even worse is that many of their parents are actually encouraging them to participate in the Pure Sleaze in real life.
This is not a fun blog but I had to get it off my chest.

ReplyDeleteOne of the main reasons we have cut the cable and only rent from the library! Supposedly TV is coming into an age of picking and choosing what you want to watch and dumping the rest (a la carte style). Something like Apple TV interest me. Not sure yet.
ReplyDeleteTo say that I am appalled would be an understatement. If this was anyone that I knew...well, I would probably be in jail by now. I would not only report her to the proper authorities, I would alert everyone that this woman has ANY contact with, starting with the police, schools that her children attend, family, neighbors, etc. She is no better than a Human Trafficker and there are many "watchdog" groups on the internet that would appreciate this information. Why would anyone conceal her identity when she doesn't herself? THIS IS CHILD ABUSE!!!

ReplyDeleteI KNOW who you are talking about and I am a FB friend of hers. On her wall a friend bragged about taking photos of his own daughter nude. The woman of this article then went on about how beautiful that must have been.
ReplyDeleteMichael, thank you for alerting us to this kind of behavior. It's very shocking and disgusting that this woman is a "mother" and she should lose her children for their own good. Perverts like that shouldn't have children.

OMG!!!! I know who you are talking about too. I kept wondering what was wrong with her because she use to be normal but she has REALLY gotten weird. I am not going to sign my name so I can keep an eye on her and she will not know who I am.

I have not seen anything like this, but I don't visit every one of my friends' walls. At the very least, Child Protective Services should be called and informed of what is going on here. AWF
ReplyDeleteI think that you know what to do...one thing you should do immediately is...inform the woman that she is not your friend, and what she is doing to her children is criminal. She thinks she is cute...inform her as a man...she is a hag...that will get her attention. As for the law...don't hold your breath.

ReplyDeleteThat is not art. That is child pornography and it is inappropriate to include her daughter in it. There is such a thing as nudity in art... done properly... by this, I mean things like... portraying a mother nursing her child or something... artful. What this woman is talking about is not art. It is pornography because it is done for the purpose of promoting sexual things. She needs to be told unequivocally that it is wrong and it is certainly appropriate to contact child protective services and, if they don't do anything, at least the blood is off your hands, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteDiscuss with your friend, who is also a 'friend' of her, click 'report'. When it asked 'why', have him tell them. Explicit sexual content. Sexual exploitation of a minor, etc. If that doesn't get the pictures yanked, then call the cops. I'd also ask anyone who is a mutual friend, tear her a new one.
ReplyDeleteBTW, Facebook yanked my picture, holding a legal .38. Yeah, that's REAL offensive, isn't it. If they don't pull the pictures, I'd report THEM to the cops as well.

ReplyDeleteI just checked her wall and I think she took it down but I know of at least 20 people who downloaded it. It is all over the place on the web now anyways. Stupid girl!!!

ReplyDeleteThe woman needs counseling of a professional level to help her understand the gravity of her behavior and the effects on her children. I do not know that the kids should be removed from the home but perhaps supervision and family counseling could be enforced until and if progress is made? It is disgusting that many good people would love to be parents and cannot be while the most undeserving are blessed with children only to ruin one of the best oppertunities of life.

ReplyDeleteForget calling CPS or the police---they dont' care and they won't do anything about it. That has been my personal experience with a child who was being shown Internet Porn and fondled by his own Dad. The boy told another kid whose Dad reported it to school officials who then called CPS---nothing done about it.

ReplyDeleteListen very carefully, DO NOT USE NAMES. The last post actually named her youngest son and that is WAY over the line. It will be hard enough on her kids to have pictures of their mom like that in peoples hands so we sure do not want to push names and make it any worse.... GOT IT!!!!!

ReplyDeleteThe person mentioned is not a great friend by a long shot but I will not allow her to be drug through the mud any longer. She has a great future and deserves the best opportunity to succeed. Trash talk is not acceptable, she WILL find a nice guy and her career WILL take off.
Lets leave her alone.
This is a horrible thing for a woman to do to herself and her children. Please turn her in because if you do not then you will have the mental problems of her children on your hands.
